We provide pest control, rodent control, and termite services across San Diego County and Imperial County, California. To do that well, we need a small amount of information from the people who contact us. This page explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit a contact form, request an estimate, or reply to one of our messages, you may share with us your name, email address, phone number, the property address, the pest concern category you select, and the content of any message you write. If you call us, we may make a brief note of the conversation to help schedule and complete your service.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting infrastructure and analytics tools may record technical data such as your IP address, the type of browser and device you are using, the pages you visit, the time you spent on each page, and the referring URL. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies described below.

Information from third parties

If you interact with embedded tools — for example, a chat widget, an advertising platform, or a review platform — those services may share interaction data with us according to their own privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business. If that happens, the successor will be bound by privacy terms at least as protective as these.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it to provide services, respond to inquiries, support warranties, and comply with our legal and tax obligations. Customer and inquiry records are typically retained for up to seven (7) years. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for longer.

• Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions (for example, records we are required to keep for tax or warranty purposes).
• Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Hydrex does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You can ask us to limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the services you have requested.
• Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny services, charge a different price, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information at your own risk.

10. Third-Party Services

Our website uses or links to third-party services. The list below is non-exhaustive and may change over time:

• A chat widget provider, if and when chat is enabled on the site.
• A web analytics provider that helps us understand site usage.
• Social media platforms — currently Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
• An applicant tracking system (Gusto) used for job applications submitted through our Careers page.
• Hosting and email infrastructure providers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the date of the most recent change. Substantive changes will be highlighted on this page or communicated to you directly when appropriate.
